The Co-operative Society (No: R 471), organized on principles of co-operation and self-help, owns and operates a book-stall in the campus.
The college co-operative society has been registered and run for the benefit of the students and staff of the college. Stationery articles, note books, text books and so on are available for sale at the society store. The aims of the society are:
a. To encourage intrinsic qualities of thrift and self help.
b. To enable the purchase of the academic requisites and other necessary articles by the members of the staff and students.
c. The dissemination of knowledge of co-operative principles and their realisation as far aspossible.
There is a full-time sales person in the society's store. The text books are sold to the students at 5% discount, and dictionaries, guides, etc are sold at10% discount. The co-operative society offers fellowship to the economically backward students of the college.
